"She noticed the blue in my mauve eyes,
the blush in my pale cheeks,
the soul under my plain suit.
She shines
for all of man to gaze upon.
My wonderful,
colorful
Ibis."

-Martin Hobbes Wicker

OCs from my story The Robin and the Vulture: Doctor Wicker and his mental patient, Ibis.
Her artistic, free spirited heart captures Martin, a fan of the arts. Everyone judges Martin as boring and cold, but Ibis felt his loneliness and became his friend and brightened up his world. Even though her mental illness keeps herself childish to his love for her, you can still see she is deeply in love with him.

Oh wow, don't ever watch the episode "Method to his Madness" of Medium.

This is a beautiful breach of doctor/patient behavioral codes. Seriously, I can't believe the counselors I went to couldn't even give us hugs. -._-.

why not? :iconcuriouslyplz:

and danke! yeah their relationship goes beyond doctor and patient sometimes, which i find adorable myself

and counselors dont give hugs (from what I hear) is because your not supposed to form relationships to them at all

Because it is a very twisted version of this same concept.

I know, but what is a counselor for if not to build a relationship? (in the non-romantic sense) People are so quick to associate physical contact with sex when it's just a natural part of being friendly.

yeah i see your point, but they put those rules just to be safe about it. its a bit of paranoia but i can't argue with that, some patients will do that and (sometimes crazy but not all the time)

Meh. They should have the right to refuse, but also the right to accept.
